Gearench RW2 Petol Refinery Wrench (Steel)

The PETOL™ REFINERY WRENCH is a combination pipe wrench/valve wheel wrench designed for multiple uses in the refining, petrochemical, and gas processing industries.

The valve wheel wrench has a special shaped opening which reduces the chance of slipping when working in overhead or crowded positions.

Steel wrenches are also available with SURGRIP™ style valve wheel wrench opening to further reduce slipping.

Safe Practices And Procedures

1. Valve Wheel Wrenches should fit over the valve wheel rim completely. Make sure that the wheel rim is in contact with the top of the wrench opening when applying force.
2. Brace yourself firmly and pull rather than push when wrenching. (If necessary to push, do so with the flat of the hand rather than gripping around the wrench.)
3. Keep the wrench in the plane of the valve wheel rim when pulling. Pulling at an angle increases the chance of slippage.
4. Never apply excess leverage to a wrench by means of a "cheater bar."
5. Never strike wrenches with hammers or other objects.
6. Safety Goggles must always be worn by persons in any area where hand and powered tools are being used.
