Ideal for refining petrochemical, chemical, pipeline and wellhead valve maintenance needs, Ezy-Pak Extreme and Ezy-Pak Extreme FA (Fiber Added) injectable valve stem packings are low "E" (low emission) “Certified Low Leak Technology” (CLLT) enhanced formulation using a balance of molybdenum disulfide and surface modified oxidation inhibited graphite, plus carbon fibers with Ezy-Pak Extreme FA. This unique combination provides lubrication and enhanced seal energizing properties for a wide variety of temperatures and pressures. Its composition offers easy flow characteristics into valve stuffing boxes using conventional injectable guns. Ezy-Pak Extreme and Ezy-Pak Extreme FA assure protection against rust, oxidation, and corrosion, and it will not harden, evaporate, or dry out. These packings are specially formulated for Drill & Tap (D&T) programs to seal packing materials where fugitive emissions concerns are present. This formulation is compatible with braded, die formed or chevron type packing materials. It will help seal once the packing material is considered to have failed or is found leaking above the allowable threshold. Ezy-Pak Extreme and Ezy-Pak Extreme FA's blend of components prevents back flow of gases and caustic liquids.

Certifications: Conforms to the EPA leak definitions and warranty requirements and has been tested in a used Non-Low E valve to API 624, as well as multiple actual D&T’s in the field and is fully compliant. The need to comply with “CLLT” standards has become one of the most important issues regarding valves over the past several years. Because of this, the API developed API 624 (applicable to API 600, 602. 603 & 623) and API 641 (applicable to API 599, 608 & 609), requiring less than 100 ppm without a re-torque, along with publishing the 3rd Edition of API 622 for packing that requires less than 100 ppm without a re-torque.
