Magnetic Load Control From a Safe Distance

Heavy steel loads such as road and trench plates, trench shields, shoring, I-beams, pipe, and poles are dangerous to guide by hand. A swinging or settling load can crush hands and feet in an instant. The Safe-T-Stik attaches magnetically to the load, so the worker can stay out of the fall zone and away from pinch points while still controlling every movement. Once the load is in position, tilting the handle releases the magnet.

Safe-T-Stik Model Guide

Choose the model that fits your reach and handling needs:

  • Safe-T-Stik Fixed 5' (STS001): the standard fixed-length model with a T-handle and 180° pivot, for general load control.
  • Safe-T-Stik XL Adjustable (STS002): adjusts to 5', 6.5', or 8' for maximum distance from large loads. T-handle, 180° pivot.
  • Safe-T-Stik SR Short Reach 2.5' (STS005): a compact T-handle model for close work and tight spaces, with a 180° pivot.
  • Safe-T-Stik SR Short Reach 2.5' with D-Handle (STS005DH): the same short reach with a D-handle grip.
  • Safe-T-Stik Lite (STS006): a slim, lightweight model with a straight handle and 100° pivot, the lightest in the range.

Longer tools keep workers farther from the load and suit larger lifts. Shorter tools give better control in confined areas and for smaller loads.

Protect Finished Surfaces

Anti-scratch magnet caps, sold in packs of six, cover the magnet to protect painted or finished steel from scratches during handling.
