CAT 1R-1808 Engine Oil Filter
- Availability: In Stock
Protecting your engine from contaminants is essential. More precise engineering leaves less room between machine components than before, so choosing the correct filter is more important than ever.
Cat Advanced High-Efficiency Engine Oil Filters have increased contamination control without giving up capacity. They meet stricter emission requirements and are available as an upgrade for some Standard Efficiency Filters when better filtration is favorable.
The Cat 1R-1808 filter contains an improved, higher efficiency filter media. This media is designed to increase contaminant capturing efficiency while maintaining excellent dirt holding capacity characteristics.
- Spiral roving and beading for pleat stability to better hold particles
- Properly cured filter media for longer performance
- One-piece aluminum base plate
- Strong nylon center tubes to prevent metal contamination
- A heavy-gauge canister for better structural strength
- One-piece molded urethane end caps to help to eliminate leaks
Caterpillar manufactures over 80 percent of its liquid filter volume on an automated assembly line. This strict quality control eliminates variation from part to part.
The CAT 1R-1808 filter offers better filtration efficiency than standard oil filters, improved engine cleanliness, and longer component life.
